Snowdonia Quarries - 1 Day Workshop

Saturday 21st April 2018 - £120 - Only 2 Places remaining!

During most of my Snowdonia workshops so far we have visited one of the vast slate quarry complexes for at least a few hours. They have proved to be a hugely popular aspect of the workshop and the common theme is that most people have wanted to explore them for much longer. They offer an almost unique opportunity to be super creative with details whilst appreciating wide vistas.

Sunrise will not be a priority so we’ll have a hearty breakfast (included) after meeting at a civilised time before departing for one of the quarries for the morning. After a break for lunch we’ll head to a another quarry or two, shooting right through until early evening and possibly Golden Hour and Sunset if conditions are favourable.

On the technical front it is expected that participants will know the basics of their chosen equipment but I do have knowledge of Canon, Sony and Fuji systems.

Occasionally during the day I will also be shooting myself as feedback suggests that sharing my vision through my own set-up is a very good aid to learning for participants, however, at all times I will be on hand and moving between each participant in turn offering advice when needed.
